Finding Courage in a Cowardly World
Join us for the new series this Sunday.
People are made in God's image—the Imago Dei. His image is reflected in who we are, how we think, and our capacity to recognize what is good.
But there's another side to human nature. We are also fallen. We often know what is right but struggle to do it. We know we should be courageous, yet fear and our own weaknesses can lead us in the wrong direction.
The good news is that we're not left to struggle on our own. Scripture helps us understand who God created us to be and why we sometimes fall short. It also reveals truths about His good design that may surprise you and change the way you see yourself and what you're capable of.
In this series, we'll explore how God designed us to recognize what is right and develop the strength to act on it, even when we're afraid. Along the way, you'll gain a deeper understanding of why we respond to fear as we do and how those responses can change. We'll also introduce useful principles and practical tools to help you put what you learn into practice.
Our goal is to help you grow into the person God created you to be, living a life that is fulfilling and good for the people around you.

We are a neighborhood church in Hawthorne, California. We gather to worship, study Scripture, pray, and encourage each other as we follow Christ.
You don't have to know everything about the Bible before you visit. Come with your questions and get to know us.
Your First Sunday
Location: 4475 West 137th Street, Hawthorne, CA 90250
Sunday worship: 10:00 AM
Parking: First-time visitors are welcome to park in our church parking lot. Additional parking is available along Hawthorne Boulevard, just a short walk from the church.
What to expect: A neighborhood church gathering to worship, hear Bible teaching, and pray together.
